Walk the Line
This week, primary students learned all about different types of lines. To spark their imagination, students worked with their table groups to complete a Minute-to-Win-it challenge where they had to draw as many different types of lines as possible. One group came up with 22 different types of lines!

Once students saw just how many types of lines there are, we went outside to learn about lines using our entire body. Students participated in a kinesthetic activity called Walk the Line, where they followed chalk lines and repeated the vocabulary word while they walked.

Once students had a chance to experience a few different types of lines outside, they worked together to match the new vocabulary words with illustrations of lines.
